FAQ

 

1) What is the requirement to join as an agent?
A) At least one year of working experience in accounting.
However, we will consider your qualification and working experience to determine whether you are qualified to work as Engagement Manager or an agent.

2) How do I communicate with clients?
A) You can communicate with clients via telephone, skype, WhatsApp, email and etc.

3) How much do I get paid?
A) Please refer to the agent scheme. You will be paid about 40%-50% of our fees depends on the quality of the work delivered.

4) How do I get paid?
A) You will be paid by cheque or bank transfer within 7 working days client upon clearance of the accounting fees received from clients.

5) Am I allowed to meet the client face-to-face?
A) Yes, you are allowed to meet the client face-to-face. However, you are not allowed to deal with our client directly regarding any financial matters or fees related to our services.

6) What is my working hours?
A) Your working hour is flexible. You may arrange the work at your convenient times as long as the agreed deadline with the client is met.

7) Where do I work from?
A) You are allowed to work from home or anywhere that is convenient to you.

8) Am I able to get reimbursement for any costs incurred (i.e. printing, travelling, telephone, etc)?
A) Our fee allocated to you is inclusive of all out of pocket expenses.

9) Can an agent submit quotation?
A) For accounting fee, agent is allowed to propose to potential client. However, for company secretarial, audit and taxation services, agent shall refer this matter to CAMG.

10) How many clients will each agent manage?
A) It depends on your capability/willingness to manage how many clients at any one time.

11) Do I need to have my own accounting software?
A) Yes, agent shall have own accounting software to perform the accounting work.

12) Is there any specific accounting software must use?
A) No. You are allowed to use any accounting software available in the market as long as you can meet the work requirements. However, this is subject to agreement with the client.

13) How much is the agent annual fee?
A) The fee is RM500 per year. However, if sign up as an agent after 30th June of the year, then only need to pay RM250 for that year.

14) What should agent do?
A) To perform and carry out the job assigned to you, for example full set of accounting.

15) Can I secure my own client after joined as agent?
A) Yes, you are allowed to secure your own client by using your own network.

16) Can I refer my client to CAMG?
A) Yes, you may refer your client to CAMG and you are entitled for job referral fee on recurring basis.

17) How much do I get for referral?
A) Please refer to profit sharing scheme. You will get 5% of gross fee for accounting job. As for audit/taxation/company secretary referred by you, 60% of the commission earned by CAMG will be allocated to you. For example, audit work referred by you, CAMG sub it to our associate audit company and get paid 20% commission, you will get 60% for the 20% commission.

18) Do I need to secure client to CAMG?
A) No. You do not have obligation to secure client to CAMG. However, you are welcome to do so.

19) Who shall agent report to?
A) You shall report to Engagement Manger assigned by us to each job. The Engagement Manager shall provide guidance to you, review and finalise the job.

20) Can I get the refund of annual fee?
A) In case CAMG fails to secure any job for you within one (1) year period, you are entitled full refund of annual fee if you are opt not to continue your agent ship with CAMG.
